Dana is the 5 p.m. anchor and nightside reporter.  She is known for her ability to frequently secure "only on" reports and excellence during breaking news.   She has a charisma that truly connects to the viewers and a curiosity that pushes her to enterprise lead stories. 



As an anchor, Dana is a natural.   Dana started filling-in anchoring only two months into the job.  Since she was promoted to the 5 p.m., she has turned the newscast from number three in the market to the number one show.  The ratings have gotten better each book, setting records for the station for the 5 p.m. newscast. She is also able to remain calm and think on her feet during equipment malfunctions or while anchoring live press conferences.

Dana reports with a certain accuracy, thoroughness, and creativity that keeps her viewers informed and entertained.   She handles live interviews with ease and has won Enterprise Reporter of the Month for creating sources during stories. She is the true definition of a go-getter.  Her ambition, motivation, communication skills, and hard-working attitude are second to none. 



She graduated from the University of Dayton in 2013 with a degree in Electronic Media, concentrating in Broadcast Television.  During her time at school, she studied reporting, writing, filming, and editing.  Dana also helped found the news program for Flyer TV, serving as anchor, reporter,  and producer.  In addition, she hosted a radio show and worked as producer and crew for several other campus television shows.  She also interned at WDTN in Dayton, OH and WIFR in Rockford, IL.

Because of her experience, dedication, and ambition, Dana has  had the opportunity to interview prominent people, emcee several large concerts, and even host and appear in several award-winning videos.
